freaking out about med school too early?

I am a pre-med as my profile states and was wondering if i was just freaking out about med school and MCATs too early. I am a 2nd semester freshman so i DO feel like its too early for me to worry but my parents are always pushing me to spend an hour or two studying MCAT chem and bio (as those are the subjects i am currently enrolled in). Med schools: I almost went as far as applying for pharmacy tech certification for a summer job at the local hospital. is it too early? should i, instead, try...
